The process of sublimation is heat and press process. In this process, you will need a special type of liquid dye. This dye is released on an inkjet paper. To transfer this dye liquid you will have to apply heat and pressure.

By heat and pressure the molecules of the fabric expand and make space for the dye liquid which already has turned into gas and then this gas enters into those gaps.

This temperature content, time measurement and volume of the pressure will depend on the substrate. This liquid is sublimated when it dries on the fabric.
